Connect the official Kumiho Memory
Have your paid Kumiho Cloud workspace ready. You sign in on the Kumiho authorization page, rather than sharing account credentials in a conversation.

Find the official listing
Open the Plugins directory in ChatGPT and search for Kumiho Memory. Check that the publisher is Kumiho Inc.

Install and connect
Open its details and select the plus or install button. When prompted to connect your account, continue to Kumiho sign-in.

Choose your Kumiho workspace
Sign in, select the workspace if prompted, and review the consent screen before approving access. Return to ChatGPT when authorization finishes.

Use it in a new conversation
Ask ChatGPT to use Kumiho Memory. Try: “Use Kumiho Memory to recall my saved project decisions, with their references.”
If the listing is unavailable, check back after publication or ask your workspace administrator about access. An OpenAI API key or a developer-mode setup is not part of this directory connection.

Name Kumiho Memory in your request so the destination is clear. These examples use ordinary project context; replace it with the information you want saved.

Correct what changed
Find that launch checklist in Kumiho Memory. The reconnect check now comes before sign-out. Show me the proposed correction before saving it.
Review the target and the new wording. Updating a memory can change which revision is used in later recall; earlier revisions remain in history.
Forget a specific memory
Find the launch checklist test memory in Kumiho Memory and show it to me. After I confirm, retire that memory from recall.
Retirement removes it from normal recall. It does not permanently erase the underlying data.
Where your memory lives
Your Kumiho workspace
Saved memories live in the workspace you connected. Other supported Kumiho clients can use that same workspace, so a decision saved here can be recalled there too.
ChatGPT’s own memory
ChatGPT’s built-in memory and Kumiho’s stored memories have separate controls. A ChatGPT memory-update notice alone is not evidence of a Kumiho write. Ask for the Kumiho reference when you want to verify a save.
This conversation’s buffer
Some tools use temporary working memory for the current conversation. Clearing that buffer does not delete memories already saved to the graph. Removing a ChatGPT conversation does not by itself delete those Kumiho memories either.

The hosted connector exposes 18 tools for memory, workspace navigation and conversation buffers. ChatGPT chooses tools for your request; naming the connector does not guarantee an automatic read or write on every message.

Review changes before approving
Store, reflect, consolidate and decompose can replace the active version of a memory, clear a buffer or supersede an accepted fact. They carry destructive hints, as do retirement and buffer clearing. Check the target and content when ChatGPT requests confirmation.
Access follows your connected workspace
Requests use the authenticated Kumiho identity and selected workspace. Do not assume a team workspace is private from its other authorized members. Project, space and revision deletion tools are not exposed by this connector.
Review, export, forget or disconnect
Review what was saved
Ask Kumiho Memory to find a topic and show its source references, or inspect your memories in the Kumiho dashboard. Check the returned memory rather than relying only on the assistant saying it remembered.
Export your workspace
Use the Kumiho dashboard’s workspace export to download your data. Export availability follows your workspace permissions; ask support if you cannot access it.
Retire or delete
Ask the connector to retire a specific memory from recall. For permanent deletion, use the Kumiho dashboard’s data controls or contact support. Retirement, clearing a conversation buffer and permanent deletion are different actions.
Disconnect Kumiho
Open your installed plugins or connected apps in ChatGPT, select Kumiho Memory and disconnect it. Manage or remove the installation there as needed. Disconnecting does not delete your saved Kumiho memories; manage those in Kumiho separately.
If something does not work
I cannot find the listing
Public access begins after approval and publication. Region, account eligibility and your organization’s plugin policies can also affect visibility. Check with your administrator or contact Kumiho support.
Sign-in worked, but no memory appears
Confirm you connected the intended paid Kumiho workspace and explicitly ask ChatGPT to use Kumiho Memory. A different workspace has different memories. Reconnect if ChatGPT asks you to renew authorization.
Will it read all my old chats?
The connector receives tool-call inputs. Connecting it does not import your entire ChatGPT history. Choose the information to save and verify the resulting memory reference.
What about simultaneous conversations?
Buffer tools require a conversation identifier. When one is missing, the server issues an ID for ChatGPT to reuse in that conversation. If the same ID is reused across two chats, their buffers can mix and affect a saved summary. Check summaries before saving important context.
Choose what you send to Kumiho
Kumiho receives the arguments sent through its tools, including recall queries and content selected for storage. Review those inputs and avoid passwords, tokens and recovery codes. The connector’s instructions prohibit storing credentials, but an instruction is not a guarantee of perfect filtering. Kumiho’s Legal page explains its data handling and deletion terms.
